Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

Tab Trade - What It Is

TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

His background is relevant. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, that range is solid.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out when it arrives.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

The execution is where this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.

Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering makes sense. Hardly anyone at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

Here is the detail you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Scam brokers do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should inform your decision.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that works depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
